Usage tips

  • For print materials and business cards, use the SVG download. Quality stays sharp even at larger sizes.
  • A long URL makes the QR code more complex. Shorten it with a service like bit.ly before generating.
  • To place a logo on the QR code, generate it with error correction H (30%).
  • Higher contrast between the background and QR colors improves recognition rates.

User guide

Overview

Instantly turn a URL, phone number, email, WiFi network, contact card (vCard) or plain text into a QR code. Supports color customization, PNG/SVG download, and a live preview. Everything is processed entirely in your browser.

QR code types
  • URL: Turn a website link into a QR code. Must include https://.
  • Phone number: Scanning automatically opens the phone app.
  • Email: Pre-fill the recipient, subject and body.
  • WiFi: Automatically connect to WiFi just by scanning.
  • Contact: Save a name, phone, email and company as a vCard.
  • Text: Turn free-form text into a QR code.
How to use
  1. Choose a type: Select a QR code type from the tabs at the top.
  2. Enter content: Fill in each field and the QR code updates live in the preview.
  3. Set options: Configure size, error correction level, margin and colors.
  4. Download: Save as PNG (raster) or SVG (vector, for print).
For print materials and business cards, we recommend the SVG format — quality stays sharp even at larger sizes.
Error correction levels
  • L (7%): Simple environments, small sizes
  • M (15%): General purpose (default)
  • Q (25%): Environments prone to damage or dirt
  • H (30%): Required when placing a logo over the QR code
Limitations and notes
  • The longer the input data (especially vCards or long URLs), the denser the QR code pattern becomes, making it harder to scan at small print sizes. If your data is long, increase the output size.
  • Low contrast between foreground and background colors (e.g. light gray on white) reduces scanner recognition rates. A dark foreground with a light background is recommended.
  • Support for WiFi QR codes can vary by device and OS (iOS 11+, Android 10+ recommended).
FAQ
My WiFi QR code won't connect.

Check that the security type (WPA/WEP/none) matches your actual network settings. Supported on iOS 11+ and Android 10+.

I want to put a logo in the center of the QR code.

Generate the code with error correction level H (30%), then composite your logo in the center using an image editor. The QR code will still scan even with up to 30% covered.
