Overview

Convert between 7 image formats — JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, TIFF and HEIC. All conversion happens right in your browser, so your files are never uploaded to a server.

How to use
  1. Select a file: Drag and drop the image you want to convert onto the drop zone, or click to choose one.
  2. Choose an output format: Pick from JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF or TIFF.
  3. Set quality: For JPG and WebP, you can adjust quality from 1–100.
  4. Click Convert to download the result.
  5. Batch conversion: On Basic/Pro plans, selecting or dropping multiple files automatically switches to batch conversion mode. The same output format, quality and resize settings apply to every selected file, and you can download them all at once as a ZIP when done.
WebP is recommended for web optimization — at the same visual quality, it's about 25–35% smaller than JPG.
Format characteristics
  • JPG: Best for photos, lossy compression, universal support
  • PNG: Supports transparency, lossless compression
  • WebP: Web-optimized, supports transparency, small file size
  • AVIF: Latest high-efficiency format, about 30% smaller than WebP
  • GIF: Simple animation, limited to 256 colors
Limitations and notes
  • HEIC is supported for import only and cannot be selected as an output format. If conversion fails, the file may be corrupted or use an unsupported HEIC variant.
  • AVIF output requires browser encoding support (Chrome 85+ or Firefox 93+ recommended). The AVIF button is disabled on unsupported browsers.
  • GIF output only supports still images and is limited to 256 colors — animated GIFs cannot be created.
  • File size limits: free plan — 1 file at a time, up to 20MB; Basic/Pro — batch processing, up to 50MB per file.
FAQ
What happens to a PNG's transparent background when converting to JPG?

JPG doesn't support transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white. To keep a transparent background, convert to PNG or WebP instead.

Does higher quality mean a larger file size?

Yes. Higher quality settings improve image quality but also increase file size. For web uploads, 80–85 is usually a good balance.

Can I convert multiple files at once?

If you're signed in on a Basic or higher plan, selecting multiple files switches to batch conversion mode. On the free plan, only the first file is processed even if you select several.
